the training
Elena Shakuto, founder of Artistry by Lena, will personally guide you through every aspect of Lip Blushing or Eyeliner Tattooing through hands on experience on live models
Lena has been a certified and licensed Body Art Practitioner performing Permanent Cosmetics in San Diego area since 2017.
She has acquired certificates in Powder Brows, Lip Blush, Eyeliner, Pigment Lightening, Scar Camouflage and strives to continue learning.
Lena has been teaching Lip Blushing and Eyeliner classes since 2019 and has helped hundreds of students to become professionals in permanent makeup and set up their own beauty business. She was judging local and international PMU championships, such as Browista LA and Queen's Night (Italy).

it works?
Certification
Blood borne pathogen certification (BBP) is a must before you start this course. If you are in California, you can obtain your BBP at abovetraining.com.
Premium Kit
Every student will receive a professional kit that includes everything you need to start practicing immediately and working on your own clients.
Beginner friendly
No prior experience or licensing is required to take this course. Perfect for you, if you are a newcomer to the industry, as well as if you studied microblading or lash extensions.
Individual approach
Small class sizes up to 3 students allow the instructor to spend time with every student, answer any questions, and revisit topics as required.
Mentoring
Once our students have completed fundamentals courses, our doors are always open. You can schedule shadowing days during our regular working days and ask any questions via text, social media or email. We are always happy to mentor our students and proud to be a part of their PMU journey.
Private one-on-one classes are available too, and perfectly tailored to your needs, whether you are beginner in PMU industry or need to refresh your knowledge of certain techniques or learn advanced skills.
